Ark Invest predicts bitcoin will reach $300,000 to $1.5 million by 2030Ark Invest analyst and portfolio manager David Puell stated that bitcoin is entering a period of institutionalization and low volatility. He expects that the launch of spot bitcoin ETFs in 2024, along with the development of digital asset treasury strategies, will drive market maturity. The combined holdings of ETFs and digital asset treasuries have reached about 12% of bitcoin's total supply, becoming one of the main driving factors for price trends in 2025. Ark Invest forecasts that by 2030, the price of bitcoin will be around $300,000 in a bear market scenario, approximately $710,000 in a base case scenario, and about $1.5 million in a bull market scenario. David Puell believes that declining volatility and narrower drawdowns will attract investors with lower risk appetites.

Ark Invest: Bitcoin Enters Institutionalization and Low Volatility Period, Still Expects Bitcoin to Reach at Least $300K by 2030BlockBeats News, January 15th, according to CoinDesk, Ark Invest analyst and portfolio manager David Puell stated that the next phase of Bitcoin will no longer depend mainly on whether investors "believe" in this asset, but more on how willing they are to allocate their exposure and through which investment tools they participate. With the launch of a spot Bitcoin ETF in 2024 and rapid development of digital asset treasury strategies, Bitcoin has crossed a significant threshold and entered an institutionalized mature stage. The combined holdings of ETFs and digital asset treasuries now represent approximately 12% of the total Bitcoin supply, far exceeding expectations, and have become one of the main driving forces affecting the price trend in 2025, a trend that may continue until 2026. As the amount of Bitcoin absorbed by ETFs and corporate treasuries exceeds expectations, the market is entering a more institutionalized, less volatile phase.
Ark Invest remains confident in its long-term Bitcoin valuation framework. According to Ark's disclosed valuation model, its forecast for the price of Bitcoin in 2030 is "Bitcoin reaching about $300,000 in a bear market scenario; about $710,000 in a baseline scenario; reaching about $1.5 million in a bull market scenario." David Puell stated that, driven by the "digital gold" narrative and institutional adoption, the company still expects Bitcoin to reach between $300,000 and $1.5 million by 2030.
David Puell stated that as volatility decreases and retracement levels narrow, Bitcoin may become increasingly attractive to investors with lower risk preferences in the next cycle.

Polygon Labs integrates previously acquired teams and eliminates some overlapping positions to accelerate its transition to the payments sector.Foresight News reported that Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron tweeted that during the acquisition and integration of the Coinme and Sequence teams, the company decided to eliminate some overlapping positions. This adjustment aims to support the company’s complete transformation into a blockchain company focused on payments. Marc Boiron emphasized that this job adjustment is a structural change rather than an issue of employee performance. Although the total number of employees is expected to remain at a similar level, the team's professional background will shift more towards payments, wallets, and blockchain infrastructure. Previously, on December 13, Polygon Labs acquired cryptocurrency payment infrastructure Coinme and blockchain development platform Sequence for $250 million.
