Ethereum Surges as the ‘Buddy’ Holds 8000 ETH in 25x Longs Ahead of Massive Options Expiration
COINOTAG News, December 26, citing Hyperinsight, notes that an approaching, sizable options expiration is drawing market attention amid the crypto landscape.
The trader nicknamed buddy added 525 ETH of long exposure in nearly 16 hours and closed BTC long positions, per Hyperinsight monitoring.
As of the latest update, the buddy maintains a pair of concentrated longs: ETH at 25x leverage with a position size of 8000 ETH and a liquidation price near $2870; and HYPE at 10x with a position size of 8000 HYPE.
