Ethereum Foundation unveils Kohaku, a privacy-focused Ethereum wallet project
on October 9th, Ethereum Foundation protocol coordinator Nico publicly announced the Ethereum privacy wallet project Kohaku. Kohaku is a set of primitives that provide security and privacy for wallets, aiming to ensure wallet security and handle private transactions while minimizing reliance on trusted third parties. It is first and foremost a wallet SDK, but also a reference implementation for a browser extension. The core goals of Kohaku are: an SDK that provides powerful privacy/security primitives; a reference implementation wallet for advanced users; collaborating with other wallets to implement all or part of the SDK they care about.
