October is the most important month for altcoins, 16 ETFs have their final deadlines, meaning they’ll either be approved or officially rejected. Many of them involve altcoins that could see their first-ever ETFs: $SOL, $LTC, $XRP, $DOGE, and $ADA. So far, only the deadlines for Canary LTC ETF, Grayscale LTC ETF, and Grayscale Solana ETF have passed. But the SEC hasn’t made any decision yet because the U.S. government is currently in a shutdown, meaning the SEC doesn’t have the budget or staff to process ETF filings. Just FYI, a U.S. government shutdown happens when Congress fails to agree on a federal budget, forcing agencies like the SEC to temporarily halt operations. I believe ETF approvals will come much later due to this delay, but if these altcoins get their first ETFs, it could reignite their momentum. It feels like the potential impact of these ETF launches isn’t priced in yet for any of them.
