Although in traditional perception, we always associate Lenovo with serious and uninteresting business computers, as if ThinkPad and gray server racks are all there is to this PC giant.

But at this year's CES, Lenovo unveiled a stack of new products at its own Lenovo Tech World event—the debut at the Las Vegas Sphere was full of a sense of technology, and the products themselves were quite impressive.

As in previous years, this Lenovo Tech World still featured plenty of enterprise-level products like the ThinkSystem SR675i cluster server, but also brought a lot of news closely related to its own consumer products.

Among them, the most nostalgic is undoubtedly the return of the Motorola flagship product line.

A Big Fold in One Hand, a Flagship in the Other

Although the 2019 reissue of the moto razr 2019 can be regarded as the pioneering work of modern foldable smartphones, Motorola has always adhered to the principle of "quietly making a fortune," focusing on the small fold (flip) rather than participating in the bustling big fold (fold) market.

Part of this is due to Motorola’s consideration of the positioning of the modern moto product line, but after more than five years of iterations of the moto razr and accumulating a significant user base, the calls for "Moto to release an affordable big fold" have become increasingly louder.

Making its debut at this CES Lenovo Tech World event, the Motorola Razr Fold is a direct response to these calls.

However, since Lenovo's CES event was not an official launch, only limited specs were revealed, with the most crucial pricing and release date information still under wraps.

The new Motorola Razr Fold follows last year's trend of ultra-thin foldable screens, but instead of adopting a completely vertical frame, it retains some curvature like the moto X70 Air:

At the same time, the Razr Fold's external screen is also very similar to the X70 Air, reaching 6.6 inches; the internal screen is an 8-inch 2K LTPO panel, basically on par with mainstream large foldables on the market, maintaining the moto razr series' excellent crease control, and may even be the first moto device to support full-screen AOD.

What's more interesting, ever since Samsung abandoned the stylus on the Galaxy Z Fold7, other brands seem to have followed suit, and Razr Fold supports the new Moto Pen Ultra stylus, also unveiled at CES.

Along with the original moto G Stylus series, Motorola has now become one of just two brands in the world to support stylus input on both bar and foldable phones—bar and foldable models with stylus support.

As for the camera, we only know that Razr Fold uses a triple 50-megapixel sensor setup, with a 3x periscope telephoto. Considering Motorola's previous camera algorithms, the Razr Fold's imaging should be able to compete head-to-head with the Z Fold7.

Other than that, hardware specs such as the Razr Fold's configuration, battery capacity, storage, etc., have not been announced, nor has the price; the official launch is likely set for this summer or Q3.

Besides the big fold, Motorola will also restart its flagship bar phone product line, to address the previously large gap between the moto g, edge, and razr series.

This bar flagship is the new member of the moto family: moto Signature, a high-end model targeting the above-7000-yuan market.

According to available information, moto Signature will continue the design language of the edge series (X series for China), using a 2×2 camera layout in the upper left corner, and will not follow the "large round module" trend:

At the same time, moto Signature also keeps a series of Pantone co-branded designs, with PANTONE Martini Olive twill and PANTONE Carbon linen as two body color options, for a stable and composed style:

For camera configuration, moto Signature adopts a triple 50-megapixel setup similar to the Razr Fold, with the main and 3x periscope telephoto sensors being Sony LYT-828 and LYT-600, with sizes of 1/1.28" and 1/1.95" respectively—

But the LYT-600 is actually the telephoto used in this year's Realme 13 Pro+, so it's clear that imaging is not Motorola's main focus for its flagship phone...

While the camera specs look ordinary, moto Signature has many highlights in other hardware specs. According to on-site introductions and official communications, the main specs of moto Signature are:

  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor

  • Android 16, with 7 OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates

  • 6.8-inch 165Hz AMOLED flat screen, Super HD resolution (2712 × 1220, about 1.5K)

  • Peak brightness 6200 nits, Corning Gorilla Victus 2 glass

  • 5200mAh silicon-carbon negative electrode battery, 90W wired + 50W wireless charging

  • IP68 (1.5m 30 minutes), IP69, MIL-STD-810H military certification

As for the price, moto Signature will first debut in the European market, with an official price of 899.99 euros for the 16+512GB version (about 7350 RMB), and will be rolled out in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific in the first half of 2026.

This price is indeed a bit high for a bar phone, but referring to Motorola's previous pricing strategy, if there is a Chinese version of moto Signature, the price might fall around the 7000 yuan range—

At this price point, would you consider buying a Motorola with a clean system?

Lenovo Builds PCs, Competing Against Itself

Aside from the acquired Motorola, Lenovo has also achieved decent growth in the personal computer field in recent years, shifting from entry-level ultrabooks to the Legion and Yoga series, making considerable progress in the mid-to-high-end, especially gaming laptop market.

At this CES, Lenovo brought two concept laptops with flexible screens—although no release was mentioned, the technological potential on display was quite exciting, making one wonder "what wild shapes we'll see in laptops in a few years."

The most eye-catching among them is undoubtedly the latest Legion Pro Rollable concept machine:

As a 16-inch gaming laptop, Lenovo installed a rollable PureSight OLED screen in the Legion Pro Rollable, driven by dual motors inside, supporting expansion from the basic 16-inch to 21.5-inch and 24-inch screen forms:

At the same time, the hardware part of the Legion Pro Rollable concept is based on the Legion Pro 7i. According to on-site signage, it should use the Core Ultra 9 series combined with the mobile version of RTX 5090, with the screen achieving a 240Hz refresh rate in all three sizes and supporting hot switching—

However, as a concept product, the Legion Pro Rollable still has some unresolved shortcomings, such as the OLED screen’s resolution of 3348×1280, which is a bit stretched for the 24-inch 21:9 ratio.

Interestingly, in Lenovo’s official description, the main points about this extendable-width screen are phrases like "16 inches suits honing movement skills and reaction speed," "21.5 inches for peripheral awareness training," and "24 inches for arena mode high-intensity training."

It seems Lenovo also thinks the Legion Pro Rollable is more suitable for training rooms than for taking out and about. After all, from the demo unit's condition, it faces the same "screen fragility" issues as all foldables do:

And Lenovo's push in the rollable screen sector isn’t limited to Legion; the ThinkPad family also welcomes a rollable screen—the ThinkPad Rollable XD concept machine:

Yes, like the ThinkBook Plus Gen6 Rollable reported by ifanr in August, this is also a rollable laptop that extends the screen upwards, able to expand from 13.3 inches all the way up to a vertical 16-inch screen—imagine how great that would be for forum browsing.

But unlike the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, the extra screen space of this ThinkPad Rollable XD isn’t stored below the keyboard, but instead wraps around to the A side:

Although the exposed outer screen looks dangerous, there’s no need to worry. Lenovo covers the exposed area on the A side with a 180° Corning Gorilla Victus 2 glass cover that extends to the edge of the body, protecting the flexible screen underneath.

Although Lenovo did not reveal more hardware specs for the ThinkPad Rollable XD at CES, if this machine goes on sale, it will most likely be equipped with the latest Panther Lake series processors this year.

For those who really need a 16-inch workspace in a portable body, this kind of notebook is indeed very tempting, especially since it retains that iconic red TrackPoint.

And if we refer to the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, which debuted at CES 2025 and went on sale in August, we might see the ThinkPad Rollable XD officially hit shelves this August as well—the hope is very much alive.

These are the main hardware products Lenovo brought to CES 2026.

In addition, Lenovo actually introduced quite a few other fun hardware products, such as the Lenovo Qira AI ecosystem-powered AI pendant (Project Maxwell) that can help you post on LinkedIn, a FIFA 26 co-branded edition of the small foldable razr, the Legion Go handheld console pre-installed with SteamOS, and a slew of regular laptop line products, among others.

It can be said that, as one of the few brands straddling both PC and smartphone markets, the array of new products Lenovo showcased at CES 2026 is quite exciting, while also sending a clear signal:

2026,is set to be a grand feast of "foldables".
