Flow: Validator consensus has been achieved, and the network is entering the remediation and testing phase
BlockBeats News, December 29th: Flow's official statement on the attack has been released. Validator consensus has been reached, accepting the proposed software upgrade solution. The network is currently entering the recovery and testing phase.
The Flow network has come back online and started producing blocks. However, regular transaction reception remains paused as remediation protocols need to be validated and tested. At 6 a.m. PT, the network will open as part of Phase 1 of the Flow Network Restoration Plan, allowing operations in the Cadence environment. Accounts affected by the attacker's exploit will remain temporarily restricted, and the EVM environment will be restricted to read-only mode. Over 99.9% of Cadence accounts will regain full functionality during this transition period.
