Flow: Abandoning rollback, adopting a new isolated recovery solution
According to Odaily, Flow's official account provided an update on the attack incident on the X platform, stating that they have abandoned the network rollback and shifted to an "isolation recovery plan." The key points of the new plan include:
1. No rollback/reorganization, all legitimate user activities will be preserved;
2. Partners do not need to replay transactions;
3. More than 99.9% of accounts are unaffected and will resume normal operations upon restart;
4. Upon restart, accounts that received illegally minted tokens will be temporarily restricted;
Additionally, the network will be restored in phases,
Phase 1: Cadence environment goes live, EVM will be temporarily restricted;
Phase 2: Cadence repair (approximately 24-48 hours);
Phase 3: EVM repair and restart;
Phase 4: Cross-chain bridges/exchanges will resume operations, with the specific recovery time to be determined by the operators after confirming stability based on the actual situation.
