Analyst: Despite Bitcoin reaching new highs, 2025 is actually a “hidden bear market”
According to TechFlow, on December 28, crypto analyst Plan C posted on X, stating that although bitcoin reached an all-time high in USD terms in 2025, it actually closed the year in a downward trend. Moreover, bitcoin's price traded sideways around $100,000 for most of the year, significantly underperforming assets such as silver, gold, and the S&P 500 index. Therefore, even though most people would traditionally define 2025 as a bull market, in essence, this year should be considered a "stealth bear market."
