All three major U.S. stock indexes closed slightly lower, while spot silver rose by 10%.
PANews, December 27 – According to Jinse Finance, all three major U.S. stock indexes closed slightly lower. The Nasdaq fell 0.09%, but rose 1.22% for the week; the Dow Jones fell 0.04%, with a weekly gain of 1.2%; the S&P 500 index dropped 0.03%, up 1.4% for the week.
Spot silver surged 10% intraday, breaking through $79 per ounce, with a year-to-date increase of over 173%. Spot gold rose 1.12% to $4,531.1 per ounce, up 4.44% for the week.
Blockchain concept stocks mostly declined. Strategy (MSTR) rose 0.06%; Strategy (MSTR) fell 1.18%; Twenty One Capital (XXI) dropped 1.36%; Circle (CRCL) fell 1.66%.
