According to TechFlow, on December 26, Forbes reported that the total wealth of the world's top ten richest people increased by more than $730 billions in 2025. Elon Musk topped the list with an increase of $333.2 billions, becoming the first person in the world whose wealth surpassed $700 billions, with a total fortune of $754.4 billions. Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin ranked second and third, with increases of $98.7 billions and $86.1 billions, respectively.
It is worth noting that among the top ten winners, six are American billionaires, contributing more than 85% of the total wealth growth, mainly due to the investment boom in the field of artificial intelligence. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Oracle founder Larry Ellison, and Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg all benefited from the rise in tech stocks.
In addition, Spanish retail giant Inditex founder Amancio Ortega, Mexican mining tycoon Germán Larrea, SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son from Japan, and Mexican telecom magnate Carlos Slim also made the list. The total wealth of more than 3,100 billionaires worldwide increased by $3.6 trillions in 2025, reaching $18.7 trillions.
