According to TechFlow, on December 26, as reported by Bitcoin Magazine, Russian President Putin stated that the United States is interested in using Europe's largest nuclear facility, ZNPP (Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant), for cryptocurrency mining. This nuclear facility has been occupied by Russian troops since March 2022.
