SlowMist: Preliminary investigations suggest the Trust Wallet theft may be part of a supply chain attack.

SlowMist posted saying, "Trust Wallet issued an official warning confirming a security vulnerability in version 2.68 of its browser extension. Users currently using version 2.68 should immediately disable the extension and prioritize upgrading to version 2.69 via the official link on the Google Chrome Web Store.

Preliminary investigation results indicate that this incident is suspected to be a supply chain attack — malicious code may have been implanted in the extension, causing users' mnemonic phrases to be sent to malicious sites when unlocking their wallets. It is estimated that user losses have exceeded 6 million USD, and relevant parties are actively investigating the incident.
