Arthur Hayes: Altcoin season always exists, and investors make misjudgments due to not holding appreciating assets
According to Odaily, Arthur Hayes stated in a YouTube podcast interview that altcoin season is always happening, and the reason investors think it hasn't arrived yet is because they don't hold the assets that are rising. Arthur Hayes pointed out that many traders still expect altcoin season to repeat the patterns, tokens, and narratives of previous years, and suggested that traders should adjust their mindset to focus on new things in the market rather than relying on history. He considers Hyperliquid as the best example so far in this cycle, with its token HYPE rising from $2-3 to $60, and also mentioned Solana's performance, which surged from $7 to nearly $300. Arthur Hayes emphasized that altcoin season has already occurred, but some investors simply haven't participated in it.
