Uniswap Founder: "Uniswap Launch Fee Switch Proposal" Enters Final Governance Vote Phase
BlockBeats News, December 18, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams posted on social media that the "Uniswap Fee Switch Proposal" has entered the final governance voting stage. The voting will start on December 19 at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time and end on December 25.
Hayden Adams said that if approved, after a 2-day timelock: 1 billion UNI will be burned, and the v2 and v3 fee switches will be activated on the mainnet, initiating the burning of UNI tokens and Unichain fees.
