ChainCatcher news, Securitize has obtained authorization under the EU DLT Pilot Regime, allowing it to operate a regulated tokenized trading and settlement system in the European Union, making it an institution with compliant tokenization infrastructure in both the United States and the EU.
This license, issued by the Spanish CNMV, enables Securitize to issue, trade, and settle tokenized securities at the market infrastructure level, and to connect with its brokerage, digital transfer agent, and alternative trading system businesses in the United States.
