Bitget legal team wins multiple annual awards from ALB and LexisNexis

According to ChainCatcher, at the 2025 Thomson Reuters Asian Legal Business (ALB) Hong Kong Law Awards, Bitget Legal Director Phil Leung was named "Young Lawyer of the Year." At the same time, the Bitget legal team was successfully shortlisted for "Fintech Team of the Year," and Chief Legal Officer Hon Ng also made it to the final list of candidates for "Lawyer of the Year." The awards were judged by more than 400 professionals from international law firms, financial institutions, and legal departments of large enterprises.

Previously, the Bitget legal team had already received a nomination and feature coverage in the LexisNexis® ELITE Award 2025. This honor highlighted Bitget's business growth, global compliance advancement, and trading volume expansion during 2024 to 2025, and recorded the platform's user base surpassing 120 million and annual trading volume exceeding 1 trillion US dollars.

Bitget's legal, compliance, and internal control department was officially established in 2024 under the leadership of Chief Legal Officer Hon Ng. The team has rapidly expanded to about 70 professionals, with members distributed across multiple jurisdictions.
