The initiative brings together enterprises, startups, universities, NGOs, and individual developers under a unified framework designed to foster scalable innovation and governance participation.

The program introduces several membership tiers, including Founding, Honorary, Association, and Ecosystem Members, catering to startups, academic institutions, corporations, and community builders. Members will gain access to exclusive training sessions, certification programs, and a repository of real-world use cases and technical research.

Through its dedicated Membership Portal, participants can connect globally, share projects, collaborate on pilots, and engage with funding initiatives. They will also receive invitations to events, meetups, and leadership forums that encourage cross-sector innovation.

Moreover, members have the opportunity to exercise voting rights, join governance committees, and contribute to Hedera’s standards and policies. Additional benefits include early access to grants, accelerator programs, sponsorship opportunities, and participation in the Community Champions and Global Referral Programs.

Building a Trusted Web3 Ecosystem

According to Kamal Youssefi, President of The Hashgraph Association, the initiative is designed to unite diverse innovators and enterprises into one collaborative ecosystem. He emphasized that the program serves as a platform for global knowledge-sharing and cooperation among those building on Hedera.

He noted,

Our Global Membership Program is an excellent platform for knowledge-sharing and interacting with other individuals and organizations who are building on Hedera globally.

The Association’s broader mission extends beyond education. It seeks to provide enterprises and governments with trusted partners for Web3 integration, aligning with Hedera’s vision of transparent, efficient, and compliant distributed ledger technology (DLT).

With council members such as Google, IBM, Boeing, Standard Bank, and Ubisoft, Hedera has established itself as a reliable network for large-scale, auditable deployments.

Strengthening Global Partnerships

The launch follows THA’s recent strategic collaboration agreement with the Philippine Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to explore blockchain applications in public infrastructure and governance.

The partnership is designed to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors in exploring and implementing Web3 and distributed ledger technologies (DLT).

THG and DOST entered into six distinct agreements with the Philippines’ initial six administrative regions, marking the start of region-specific implementation. The first participating regions are the National Capital Region (NCR), Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Central Luzon, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Davao.

Hedera Hashgraph has also recently partnered with Google BigQuery’s public datasets, enabling developers, analysts, and businesses to access the full transaction history of the network.

By offering structured access to training, funding, and international collaboration, the Global Membership Program positions Hedera as a catalyst for the next phase of Web3 infrastructure adoption. In parallel, Hedera’s native token, HBAR, has reflected renewed market optimism, declining 1.12% in the past 24 hours and 2% over the past month, now trading near $0.185.
