Ethereum stablecoin activity hits record high, with weekly unique sending addresses surpassing 1 million
Jinse Finance reported that in 2025, the average number of unique weekly sending addresses for stablecoins on Ethereum reached 720,000, and for the past two weeks, it has surpassed 1 million for the first time. Over the past year, this figure has grown exponentially, with an average weekly increase of more than 1.7% since August 2024. Analysis indicates that the growth is mainly driven by the increased adoption rate of stablecoins; in addition, perpetual contracts, prediction markets, and most Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization projects all use stablecoins for fund settlement, with each new application generating a large number of new addresses. As a primary settlement layer, Ethereum captures inflows, rebalancing, and payment flows, thereby driving an increase in active addresses.
