Bank of England Governor: Any stablecoin widely used in the UK in the future should be able to access central bank accounts
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey stated that any stablecoin that is widely used in the UK in the future should be able to access the Bank of England's accounts in order to consolidate its monetary status.
Bailey also pointed out that stablecoins may help promote the transformation of the financial system from a commercial lending model.
