Federal Trade Commission of the United States said on Thursday that it is seeking information from 7 companies that provide consumer-facing artificial intelligence chatbots, such as Alphabet (GOOG.O), Meta Platforms (META.O), and OpenAI, to understand how these companies measure, test, and monitor potential negative impacts.
