Brazil's largest private asset manager Itaú Asset establishes dedicated crypto division
ChainCatcher News, according to Cointelegraph, Brazil's largest private asset manager, Itaú Asset Management, has established a dedicated crypto department within its mutual funds division. The report states that Itaú Asset manages over 1 trillion reais (185 billion USD) in assets for its clients.
Currently, the company offers 10 trading pairs including BTC/ETH/SOL/USDC and has developed its own custody solution. Existing products include a bitcoin ETF and digital asset exposure in pension funds. The new department will focus on digital asset investment strategies such as fixed income, derivatives, and staking.
