The Federal Reserve to Release July CPI Data, Core CPI Annual Growth Expected to Reach 3.1%
According to ChainCatcher, citing Jinshi News, Federal Reserve mouthpiece Nick Timiraos stated that July CPI data will be released this week. Core CPI is expected to rise by 0.31%, bringing the annual increase to 3.1% (compared to 2.9% in June and 2.8% in May). Overall inflation is also projected to rise by 0.24%, with the annual rate reaching 2.8%.
