CME FedWatch: Probability of a 25 basis point rate cut in July is 5.2%
According to a report by Jinse Finance, CME "FedWatch" data shows there is a 5.2% probability of a 25 basis point rate cut in July, and a 94.8% probability that rates will remain unchanged. The probability that the Federal Reserve will keep rates unchanged through September is 39.6%, with a 57.4% chance of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut, and a 3% chance of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut. The next two FOMC meetings are scheduled for July 30 and September 17.
