Trump: 30% Tariffs Imposed on Mexico and the European Union
Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. President Trump announced in a letter posted on his social media platform on Saturday that, starting August 1, goods imported from Mexico will face a 30% U.S. tariff. Trump also stated that if Brazil decides to raise tariffs for any reason, the U.S. will impose an equivalent increase on top of the existing 30%, regardless of the amount Brazil chooses to raise. In another letter, Trump said that starting August 1, goods imported from the European Union will also face a 30% U.S. tariff. (Jin10)
