Elliptic partners with the Internet Watch Foundation to combat cryptocurrency funding of child sexual abuse content
Blockchain intelligence firm Elliptic has officially become a member of the Internet Watch Foundation, strengthening efforts to combat the funding of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through cryptocurrencies. This partnership will grant Elliptic access to several IWF services, including a real-time virtual currency alert system that provides data on cryptocurrency transactions used to purchase child sexual abuse content, as well as identifying related payment networks and wallet addresses. By integrating these real-time alerts, Elliptic aims to help its clients prevent transactions linked to child abuse.
