Trump: Our Interest Rates Should Be Two Percentage Points Lower Than They Are Now
U.S. President Trump: Federal Reserve Chair Powell is unlikely to cut interest rates today. If the Fed lowers rates, we will be able to purchase debt at a lower cost. Our interest rates should be two percentage points lower than they are now. A 2.5 percentage point cut in the federal funds rate would be very beneficial.
