Insider: Musk's Starlink Obtains Key License from Indian Telecom Department
According to informed sources, Elon Musk's Starlink has obtained a key license from the Indian Department of Telecommunications, clearing a major hurdle and bringing the company closer to launching commercial operations in India. Starlink is the third company to receive approval from the Indian Department of Telecommunications, following similar approvals for European satellite company Eutelsat's OneWeb and Indian telecom company Reliance Jio.
