eToro Re-expands U.S. Crypto Business, Resumes Trading of 12 Tokens
On May 28, it was reported that the online trading platform eToro announced on Wednesday the launch of 12 cryptocurrencies on its US platform, expanding its digital asset offerings in the US after significantly reducing its US operations last year due to regulatory restrictions. The newly added tokens include Cardano, Dogecoin, XRP, and Shiba Inu, increasing the total number of tradable crypto assets on the US platform from the original 3 to 15. These new tokens will be launched alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BCH.
Previously, eToro retained only these three crypto assets after reaching a settlement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2024.
