Morgan Chase's blockchain payment service Kinexys adds a third currency, the British Pound
On April 14th, according to Ledger Insights, JPMorgan is expanding its blockchain-based bank account service Kinexys Digital Payments (formerly known as JPM Coin) to support the third currency, the British pound. This will facilitate 24/7 corporate payments and foreign exchange services in US dollars, euros and pounds.
The first batch of users includes LSEG's SwapAgent and commodity trader Trafigura. Kinexys has accumulated a transaction volume exceeding $1.5 trillion and currently processes about $2 billion transactions daily.
