Pakistan plans to use surplus electricity for Bitcoin mining and AI data center construction
According to Reuters, Pakistan's Cryptocurrency Committee plans to use the country's surplus electricity to promote Bitcoin mining and AI data center construction in order to solve high electricity costs and excess energy problems. The committee has discussed with several mining companies and will determine the location of mines based on power supply conditions.
