According to CME ‘Fed Watch’: the probability of the Fed keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 86.4%, and the probability of cutting rates by 25 basis points is 13.6%. The probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged until June is 24%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 66.2%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 9.8%.
