StaFi proposes a significant reduction in the $FIS inflation rate, which may usher in a new era of deflation
The StaFi protocol has proposed a key governance proposal to gradually reduce the inflation rate of its native token $FIS each year, aiming to enhance the value of the token and align with its AI-enabled LSaaS narrative.
Currently, the annual inflation rate of StaFiChain is 10%. The proposal plans to decrease it by 4% each year starting from 2025, and reduce it to 0% by 2027, gradually implementing a deflationary model. This move will effectively curb the increase in token supply, alleviate selling pressure in secondary markets, help strengthen StaFi's economic core, and build a more resilient growth path.
StaFi stated that adjusting the inflation rate is part of its forward-looking value strategy. In future they will continue promoting optimization of protocol mechanisms and sustainable development within their ecosystem.
