Fed Governor Waller: slower pace of rate cuts starting in June still the right thing to do
Fed Governor Waller: At this week's meeting, I favoured continuing the current pace of balance sheet reduction. As we inch closer to an adequate level of reserves, a slowdown or cessation of reductions would be appropriate. I believe that a slower pace of interest rate reductions, starting in June 2024, is still the right choice.
