Poll: Trump's approval rating hits record high
A new poll conducted by NBC shows that 47 per cent of respondents support the incumbent US President Donald Trump, a figure that is the highest approval rating since he took office. By comparison, Trump's average approval rating for his first presidential term in 2019 is 44 per cent. Meanwhile, 51 per cent of respondents have a negative view of Trump's policies. 54 per cent disapprove of his first economic decisions since his inauguration. 55 per cent are dissatisfied with the way he has tackled inflation. Just under half of respondents believe the U.S. is on the right track. 55% of respondents approve of Trump's current immigration policies, about the same percentage support government reforms, another 25% oppose them, and 18% see no significant change.
