The tokenized US Treasury market surpasses $4 billion, led by Ondo Finance

March 6 news, according to data from @RWA_xyz, the tokenized U.S. Treasury market has surpassed the $4 billion mark. This rapid growth is attributed to Ondo Finance's leadership in the market. In just two years, tokenized treasuries have achieved what stablecoins took four years to reach, demonstrating a strong market demand for secure, highly liquid, institutional-grade yields.

Ondo Finance is currently the largest platform in the tokenized U.S. Treasury sector by TVL (Total Value Locked), with its TVL growing by 57% in the past 30 days, exceeding $1 billion. Significant growth includes:

OUSG (its institutional product) increased by $165 million (+61%)

USDY (its DeFi composable product) increased by $201 million (+51%)

Additionally, Ondo leads in the number of tokenized U.S. Treasury holders, with 85% of over 15,000 holders owning Ondo's tokenized treasuries, and these products span across 8 blockchain platforms.

Recently, Ondo also launched three major initiatives—Ondo Nexus, Ondo Global Markets, and Ondo Chain, which will further accelerate its mission: to bring U.S. financial markets on-chain, opening global access, starting with the $90 trillion U.S. Treasury and U.S. stock markets.
