Solana chain pledge demand surges, Canadian institution Torrent Capital holds nearly 7,000 SOL and pledges interest

Canadian investment company Torrent Capital recently disclosed that since launching its cryptocurrency investment portfolio on January 6, 2025, it has accumulated a total of 4,955 SOL holdings, and currently holds a total of 6,955 SOL, all of which are pledged for interest. This move highlights institutions' attention to Solana's pledged returns and long-term ecological value.

 

On the same day, on-chain data shows that Solana's daily transaction fee is $3.30 million, slightly lower than BNB Chain's $5.80 million. Although BNB Chain briefly topped the fee list with the trading volume dominated by multi-chain DEXs such as PancakeSwap, the institutional position growth and active level of Solana's ecosystem continue to rise, which may provide support for its network value. The focus of public chain competition is shifting from short-term fee indicators to long-term staking economy and institutional fund flow, with Solana performing well in the latter.
