ECB Governing Council: supports gradual rate cut of 25 bps
ECB Governing Council member Centeno said that in order to keep inflation at 2%, the ECB may need to cut rates below the neutral rate. The neutral rate will be below 2% and the downward trend in interest rates needs to be clearly maintained. And he said he supports a gradual rate cut of 25 basis points.
