WisdomTree Report: With the rise of institutional adoption, Bitcoin is no longer a niche investment

According to CoinDesk, WisdomTree's 2025 Cryptocurrency Trends Report indicates that Bitcoin is no longer a niche investment and institutional adoption is rapidly growing. The report shows that multi-asset portfolios with Bitcoin allocations consistently outperform those without. WisdomTree predicts that due to increased customer demand, the adoption rate of Bitcoin will continue to rise by 2025. The launch of the US spot Bitcoin ETF has driven the mainstreaming of cryptocurrencies, and more countries may approve altcoin trading products (ETPs) including SOL and XRP in the future.

The report also mentions Ethereum's important position in DeFi, NFTs, and Web3 fields but its scalability issues remain unresolved. Stablecoins and tokenization of assets are expected to grow significantly, further promoting blockchain technology applications in global financial systems.
