U.S. Accounts for Over 40% of Global Bitcoin Hash Rate
The U.S. accounts for more than 40 percent of the Bitcoin network's hash rate, with two U.S.-based mining pools, Foundry USA and MARA Pool, accounting for more than 38.5 percent of all blocks mined, according to data. According to TheMinerMag, Foundry USA's hashrate grew from 157 EH/s) in early 2024 to approximately 280 EH/s in December.Foundry is currently the largest single mining pool by hashrate, controlling approximately 36.5% of the total hashrate on the Bitcoin network.
