Insider: Galaxy Digital hires Anthony Paquette from Point72 as CFO

According to Bloomberg, informed sources revealed that Galaxy Digital has hired Point72's Chief Financial Officer Anthony Paquette as its CFO. Anthony Paquette will start serving as a senior advisor for Galaxy from January, as the appointment has not yet been made public.

Paquette served as the CFO of Steven Cohen's asset management company Point72 for over four years. Prior to this, he was the head of business at financial technology company SoFi and managing director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Galaxy is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and has been seeking a listing in the United States for many years.
