Bank of America: forecast for Fed's end of tapering pushed back to end-March 2025
Bank of America strategists Mark Cabana and Katie Craig said in a report that the bank now expects the Fed to end tapering by the end of March 2025, compared to its previous forecast of a December 2024 end date, due to little discussion by policymakers about its policy.The September FOMC meeting indicated that the Fed sees changes in the policy rate and balance sheet as mutually independent.
