Cluster of Bitcoin Mining Addresses Awakens After Nearly 16 Years of Silence, Contains 250 BTCs
According to monitoring, $15.95 million worth of bitcoins (250 BTC) have just been transferred from five addresses that were active during the first month of Bitcoin's existence (January 2009). Each address received 50 BTC for mining one of the blocks 2247, 2401, 2455, 2486 and 2690. bitcoin from these addresses has been dormant for nearly 16 years.
