Ripple was fined $125 million in its lawsuit with the SEC
According to a public document, the U.S. SEC's motion and final judgment against Ripple were partially approved and partially rejected. Judge Torres made the final ruling, prohibiting Ripple from further violating securities laws, and imposed a civil penalty of $125,035,150 on it. The SEC initially requested a fine of $2 billion for Ripple.
