Web3 developer Quicknode VP: ZK Rollups are a foundational technology, not a flash-in-the-pan trend
July 28-- Josh Neuroth, vice president of product at Web3 developer Quicknode, said that because ZK Rollups offer tangible benefits in terms of transaction throughput and data confidentiality, these L2 solutions are more of a foundational technology than a flash-in-the-pan trend, according to News.bitcoin. Moreover, as the technology behind these L2 solutions matures and more projects adopt them, the Web3 space may see lasting improvements in blockchain performance and user experience.
In the meantime, Neuroth said he agrees with Bitcoin extremist David Sorey that ZK Rollups are the missing piece of the puzzle for the Bitcoin network in terms of scaling and privacy. He explained that ZK Rollups will ultimately “help Bitcoin overcome its current limitations and compete with other blockchain networks that offer advanced features.
