U.S. CPI cools across the board, rate cut in September more likely
Robert Pavlik, Senior Portfolio Manager at Dakota Wealth, says that the U.S. CPI has cooled across the board, which speaks directly to the likelihood of a rate cut in September. He believes it also calls into question the likelihood of a rate cut in July, even though it's a fairly remote possibility. The market would really be counting on a rate cut in September.
