In a message from ChainCatcher, Lin Chen, the head of Deribit's Asia-Pacific business, stated on social media that a user purchased call options for $3400 at the end of September and sold call options for $4400 at the end of September, totaling 2500 ETH. The user paid a premium of $738,000. This user bought bull market spreads between $3400 - $4400 in September to reduce costs; if the price exceeds $3700 upon expiration, they will make a profit.
