Bloomberg: Many industry insiders predict that the demand for spot Ethereum ETFs may be much lower than Bitcoin
News on June 6, analysts said that the demand for spot Ethereum ETFs may be far lower than that of spot Bitcoin ETFs. Caroline Bowler, CEO of BTC Markets Pty, stated: "Ethereum does not have the same recognition as Bitcoin." She added that with a market value of $1.4 trillion, Bitcoin is three times that of Ethereum and therefore believes "it will not have the same impact." Morgan Stanley strategist Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou estimates that the proposed Ethereum portfolio will attract a "moderate" net inflow of $1 billion to $3 billion in the remaining time this year. Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said these products might struggle to get 20% of US Bitcoin ETF assets, which currently stand at $62.5 billion. Vetle Lunde from K33 research holds an optimistic view; he predicts there will be a net inflow of $4 billion in the first five months and a "huge supply absorption shock" will boost Ethereum.
