Bloomberg: Crypto venture capital is turning to invest in “Professor Coin” project
Golden Finance reported that according to an article published by Bloomberg, as the scale of financing in the digital asset industry rises again, venture capital institutions are turning to crypto startups and projects founded by professors and scholars. The analysis found that Shara, CheckSig and NEBRA light encryption projects were all founded by academics, and these projects have all successfully raised financial support in the past two months. It is worth noting that EigenLayer, founded by Sreeram Kannan, associate professor at the University of Washington, received $100 million in investment from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) in February this year, while Babylon, an encryption project founded by Stanford University professor David Tse, successfully raised $18 million. USD, both projects are focused on re-hypothecating the crypto vertical.
