Cryptocurrencies with low circulation account for 21.3% of the market value of the top 300 cryptocurrencies

According to research results from Coingecko, low-circulation cryptocurrencies currently account for 21.3% of the top 300 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. The four cryptocurrencies with the lowest circulation are Worldcoin (WLD), Cheeee (CHEEL), Starknet (STRK) and Saga (SAGA), all launched in 2023 or 2024. However, among the top 300 cryptocurrencies, there are 74 that have a fully diluted valuation (FDV) ratio of one, meaning they are fully diluted with no upcoming token unlocks. Compared to low-circulation cryptocurrencies, less than half were launched in the past four years; most of them(46 out of 74) were launched between 2014 and 2020.
