India's central bank governor: CBDC will be made available offline
Golden Finance reported that Shaktikanta Das, governor of the Reserve Bank of India, said the bank is working to make its digital currency usable without an internet connection. Das said that the use of India's CBDC has reached 1 million per day, but people still prefer to use instant mobile payment modes.
